Paytm Insider has always been an LGBTQ+ friendly community, and this year it’s celebrating Pride month with Proud & Loud. Through this, the platform is compiling an exquisite collection of experiences where the community may express itself without prejudice and join together to celebrate Pride, love, and inclusiveness.
Paytm Insider is showcasing experiences throughout the country, including SOCIAL’s Satrangi Mela, a pride pop-up returning this June.
India’s first all-queer comedy lineup is ‘Queer Rated’ Chaffee Cafe and Out & About from Bengaluru conduct Bollywood-themed Quiz Nights.
At Gurugram’s Unlocked, Play with Pride Trivia Night will feature a Pride-themed MELA pub quiz. Then, Delhi’s Lush Monsoon hosts a Pride Party at Unlocked.
Paytm Insider intends to include the colorful colors, banners, and forceful statements associated with Pride month into its activities. The LGBTQ+ community has always been supported by Proud & Loud, but this year sees the introduction of new programming emphasizing diversity. One of them is the use of pronoun stickers.
Paytm Insider is aware that using the appropriate pronouns encourages inclusiveness, respect, and gender identity. Participants at the event will be given / / and / stickers tags to affix to their clothing to show their support for this practice. You can write your pronouns on the blank sticker tags that are also available.
Zines have been used for a long time by the LGBTQ+ community to communicate their identities, stories, and experiences. The site provides areas where you may make a zine about your narrative and identity to foster an environment that is open, secure, and conducive to expressiveness. In addition, Paytm Insider offers tokens of appreciation to its community members and sympathizers, such as wristbands and badges.
According to Samidh Bhattacharyya, head of marketing at Paytm, the Paytm Insider community has always welcomed LGBTQ+ individuals. Through the establishment of an inclusive and egalitarian space for all, our Proud & Loud program broadens our allyship. In this space, LGBTQ+ voices are acknowledged, and individuals are encouraged to be themselves without fear of being discriminated against, all while celebrating Pride Month in a loud and proud manner.
